Freshly laid grey flake epoxy floor by Apollo Flooring in an Auckland garage

Style meets performance.

Epoxy is one of the most durable, stylish and low-maintenance flooring systems available: a seamless, hard-wearing surface built for warehouses, workshops, food production areas and commercial spaces that get genuinely hammered. It also turns a dusty garage slab into the best-looking room in the house.

Flake blends

Flake blends and solid colours

Decorative flake gives the floor its speckled, easy-care finish, while commercial floors often run solid-colour epoxy for a clean single tone. Both are available, along with custom systems.

We can show you flake and colour samples at your site visit.

Straight answers

Common questions

Will it peel or flake off?

Not if it's prepped properly. That's why every floor starts with substrate preparation: diamond grinding and crack repair so the epoxy bonds to sound concrete.

How soon can I use the floor?

Cure times depend on the system. We'll confirm them for your floor with the quote, including when it can take foot traffic and vehicles.

Is it slippery?

We install dedicated non-slip epoxy systems for wet areas, ramps and workplaces. Tell us how the space is used and we'll recommend the right system.

Can you coat over old paint or sealer?

Yes: old coatings are ground off during preparation first, so the new system bonds to sound concrete.

Does it yellow in sunlight?

Our floors are finished with a UV-stable polyaspartic clear topcoat.

How much does it cost?

It depends on floor area, slab condition and the system. A single garage flake floor and a chemical-resistant commercial floor are different jobs, so we quote each one exactly. Quotes are free.

Do you only do big commercial floors?

No. The systems scale from warehouses, retail and food production areas down to single garages, and small jobs get the same free quote.
